Can we train for confidence? Luckily, it’s proven that we can.

Here are 6 jobs that have ‘confidence’ written all over them:

1. Public Speaker: engaging an audience and delivering information with impact.

2. Entrepreneur: decisive decision-making and striking into the unknown.

3. Airline Pilot: high-pressure scenarios and the ultimate responsibility.

4. Management Consultant: expertise in clarity of guidance through complex challenges.

5. Trial Lawyer: clear and definitive actions with a persuasive charisma.

6. Marketing Director: communication skills and dynamic, creative decision-making.

As a confidence coach, this correlation between the job and the character type intrigues me. Can we train for confidence? Do naturally confident people arrive naturally at these jobs? Or does a shy, timid bean want to be a pilot and increase in confidence because of the work?

Nature vs Nurture – the age-old puzzle of what drives us.

Luckily, it’s proven that we can train for confidence.

Healthy daily habits, atomic habits, consistency and a positive relationship with failure: these all will get you feeling more resilient, more ready for the unknown.

More confident.
